Two down !!

Finally !! I didn’t think that I’d ever get around to working on this list… but I’ve managed to do two just this week.

Firstly, I played a team sport. I had a soccer game on Tuesday, and it was really fun !! We lost 4 - 2, but it was a pretty good game… and the weather was perfect. Yeah…

My second task that I completed was that I went to church… but this task wasn’t so fun. My Gran’s funeral was this morning, she died on Wednesday morning. She had pancreatic cancer… and the amazing thing was that she was diagnosed 3½ years ago and she fought it all this time. The average prognosis is six weeks, so we were really lucky.

Gran was an amazing person, and we’ll all miss her a ton. Love you !!

I’ve also got plans to complete my Lord of the Rings marathon, and a few other tasks are planned as well. Hopefully everything works out!

Coming up…

So I start my mission tomorrow and I only have 74 objectives… better get working, eh ? I’m going to try and get the list finished before dinner tonight. Wish me luck!

Edit: It’s done !! I’m so excited for tomorrow, it’s going to be awesome. I’m only going to school in the morning, then I’m going to a track meet. Wicked fun.

hmmm…

I just have to post; not because anything amazing happened to me, but because my blog just reached 1111 hits.

Yay.

April Fool’s Gone Wrong

So as you all (hopefully) know, today was April Fool’s day. It was pretty fun, except for one little mishap involving an English teacher and a few desks…

Today was our reading period in English. Our teacher wasn’t in the room, so we all decided to prank her. While she was our of the room, we all picked up our desks and turned them so that they faced the back of the room, then continued to read. She came in, and instead of laughing she got super angry !! She told us that we had the maturity level of a grade six classroom, that her trust in us was gone, and that we all got 0/5 for reading that day - which I found a little unfair, seeing as we all were reading.

The period after that, we were going to switch subjects with another class, as our last possible prank for the day, but after that incident half of our class just went strait to where we were supposed to be… which of course caused more confusion.

I still think that we probably could have gotten away with the desk thing if David hadn’t been making monkey noises and lying on the ground…

Quotes and Pooh Bear

I love Winnie the Pooh.

I was looking through a bunch of quotes today, and discovered a few adorable ones from Pooh… check them out:

“You can’t help respecting anybody who can spell TUESDAY, even if he doesn’t spell it right; but spelling isn’t everything. There are days when spelling Tuesday simply doesn’t count.”

“If the person you are talking to doesn’t appear to be listening, be patient. It may simply be that he has a small piece of fluff in his ear.”

“Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon.”

“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like “What about lunch?””

Sometimes I think that children’s storybook characters are the smartest people of all.

Aaugh !!

I was going to post a picture in the Snapshots project today, but there wasn’t a word that came close to what this one conveyed.

Ear buds
Depression and Despair

My ear buds died yesterday !! It was the saddest moment of my life… I put on my jacket, closed my locker, and took out my iPod to listen to Pat Benatar and they were just… dead! I met my friend Megan afterwards and we sat out front of the school, waiting for her mum to show up, and I told her about my pain. She laughed.

Some people have no compassion. Smile

There’s More To 101 Things Than You Know

The title basically says it all, but I suppose that I could elaborate…

I’ve been trying to think of 101 things that I could do in 2.75 years and it’s really killing me! I’ve thought of most of the short-term goals that I really want to do, but I’m only at 22… plus an extra two that probably won’t get accomplished (They’re on my Alternative 11 list)) I won’t be able to concentrate AT ALL tomorrow!

In closing: 101 is a BIG number… jeez, who knew?

101 Things in 1001 Days

Hi guys,

I came across this(External Link)website today, and am seriously thinking about starting one of these lists! I’m going to start on my birthday, May 5th, and will finish on the 31st of January, 2011. I haven’t started my list yet, but I’ve thought of some ideas that are dead set. Hopefully I’ll have thought of all of my goals by the 5th… but right now I can’t spend any more time on it as I’ve got a whole week of schoolwork to catch up on!

Bye …
